Description

We welcome transfer students to LSUS from all over the world, and it’s important to us that your transition to LSUS is as seamless as possible.

All transfer students are invited to schedule a personalized campus tour. Tours are available at 11 a.m. on weekdays and include the opportunity to chat with an Admissions Counselor, tour new innovations on campus, and go home with FREE LSUS gear! Student tours launch from the front of the University Center. A University Ambassador will meet you there (look for the yellow clipboard)!

Questions & Answers

Where will my campus visit begin?: Your campus visit will begin at the front of the University Center (Building #18 on this map). A University Ambassador will meet you there (look for the yellow clipboard)!
Do I need to arrive early for my campus visit?: Early arrival may result in extended waiting times. We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before the start of your tour.
Will I get to meet a transfer admissions counselor one-on-one?: Yes! You will get to meet with an LSUS transfer admissions counselor one-on-one and ask any questions that you have about LSUS, the admissions process, or college in general.
Will I get to meet with an academic advisor or faculty member during my tour?: You will not meet with an academic advisor or faculty member during a campus visit.
Can I bring family and friends to my campus visit?: Yes, you can!
Is there any paperwork I should bring with me to campus?: You are welcome to bring transcripts (official or unofficial) from each college or university that you have attended. You may also bring shot records, required immigration documentation, or any other records necessary to determine admissibility to LSUS as a transfer student.
How do I know if my classes will transfer to LSUS?: The easiest way to see which of your classes will transfer to LSUS, is to visit the Pilot Transfer Table.
