Welcome to the Pilot Family! Orientation is offered for all new students entering LSU Shreveport in the Spring 2023 semester. Please sign up to learn about the campus and register for classes!
All first-time freshmen are required to attend an Orientation Session before registering for classes and beginning their first semester at LSUS. We encourage transfer students to attend because of the important information that will be covered. However, it is not mandatory for transfer students to attend.

NSO is a great opportunity to prepare for the college experience at LSUS. Attending students will benefit from individualized assistance with class scheduling, getting to know where things are on campus, learning about student life, and registering for their first semester of classes.
All first-time freshmen are required to attend NSO.
Orientation registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and Orientation should end around noon (ending times may vary).
No, this is a student event only event. We ask that no parents or guests attend NSO.
The cost to attend is $20.00 per person attending. The fee may be paid in advance by cash, check, or money order. Please note that all orientation fees are non-refundable.
